SUMMARY:Walk My Way Canberra
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we step out to help children step up!\nOur Canberra walking route begins and ends at St Peters Lutheran Church.\n\nWe’ll depart at 10.30am on our 7.5km walk. Walkers will stroll through Glebe Park\, over Parkes Way Bridge\, and continue around the edge of Commonwealth Park\, taking in the colour and atmosphere of Floriade. The route then follows the bridge-to-bridge loop\, crossing Commonwealth Bridge and returning via Kings Avenue Bridge.\n\nAlong the way\, walkers will pass the National Carillon before using the underpass back to Constitution Avenue\, continuing through Glebe Park and finishing back at St Peters for a community lunch. Please bring a plate to share.\n\nA shorter 3.5km route will also be available on the day for those who prefer.\n\nRegistration will open from 10am at St Peters Lutheran Church\, Canberra. Walkers will be welcomed and the safety briefing completed at 10.15am.\n\nYou can register as a walker or donate on the Canberra Walk My Way site!

Then from there we’ll walk around the Harbour\, past the Botanical Gardens\, Opera House\, Circular Quay\, The Rocks\, Walsh Bay\, Fisherman’s Wharf\, Barangaroo\, and finish at Tumberlong Park\, where we’ll celebrate our walk by buying lunch from the various restaurants or you can bring your own.\n\nRegistration will open from 9am at St Pauls Lutheran Church\, Sydney and close at 10:10am.
