SUMMARY:LCA Child Safety Standards for Congregations Webinar
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will provide an overview of the LCA Child Safety Standards for Congregations with an emphasis on the new child safety responsibilities for LCA congregations. \nIt will also provide guidelines and helpful tips for completing the new Self-Assessment Tool and Child Safety Plan\, as well as information regarding the implementation of the Child Safety Plan by local councils. \nThe webinar will run for approximately 90 minutes from 1.30pm AEDT.  \nAll church council members\, particularly chairpersons and secretaries\, pastors\, Safe Church Coordinators\, and other key people involved in children’s ministry are strongly encouraged to participate. \nEach session will include question-and-answer opportunities. \nThe webinar will be conducted jointly by the LCA Child Protection Project Officer Mary-Ann Carver and members of the Professional Standards Department.
