Walk My Way Canberra

Join us as we step out to help children step up!
Our Canberra walking route begins and ends at St Peters Lutheran Church.

We’ll depart at 10.30am on our 7.5km walk. Walkers will stroll through Glebe Park, over Parkes Way Bridge, and continue around the edge of Commonwealth Park, taking in the colour and atmosphere of Floriade. The route then follows the bridge-to-bridge loop, crossing Commonwealth Bridge and returning via Kings Avenue Bridge.

Along the way, walkers will pass the National Carillon before using the underpass back to Constitution Avenue, continuing through Glebe Park and finishing back at St Peters for a community lunch. Please bring a plate to share.

A shorter 3.5km route will also be available on the day for those who prefer.

Registration will open from 10am at St Peters Lutheran Church, Canberra. Walkers will be welcomed and the safety briefing completed at 10.15am.
