Central West Lay Reading Workshop at St John’s Forbes

This workshop is open to anyone interested in learning about the lay reading and is especially suited for anyone who is Licensed for Word and/or Sacrament, anyone the congregation is considering being licensed for Word and Sacrament and anyone in leading worship in the congregation setting.

Whether you are licensed for Word or a lay reader, these workshops will assist you in developing, preparing and presenting sermons in engaging and relevant ways for your local context. Dates for each region:
14 March 2026, Riverina
9 May 2026, Canberra
13 June 2026, Sydney
12 September 2026, Central West
All people licensed for Word are required to undertake this workshop, led by Pr Mark Worthing.
